01First purchases and renewals

You may request a full refund of your first paid purchase, whether monthly or annual, within 14 calendar days of that purchase. This is an additional refund guarantee offered by Scholes. Send the request to support@scholes.ai using the email associated with your account and, when available, your order reference.

Renewal payments are reviewed case by case. Contact us promptly if you believe a renewal or another charge was incorrect. This does not limit any rights under the payment provider's terms or refund policy, or applicable consumer law.

For Paddle purchases, you can also request a refund through Paddle buyer support or the help link in your receipt. We coordinate refunds we approve with Paddle; Paddle issues them to the original payment method where possible. Processing times depend on the payment provider and your bank. Where Scholes, Paddle, or applicable law provides a higher level of refund protection, that protection applies.

Cancelling a subscription or deleting an account does not itself issue a refund. You can still contact support about an eligible purchase after deletion. This policy does not limit any refund, withdrawal, or other consumer right required by law.

02How to request a refund

Contact support@scholes.ai with your account email, purchase date, order reference if available, and a description of your request. You do not need to provide full payment card details or security codes. Tell us if you can no longer access your Scholes account so we can help verify the purchase.

You can contact Paddle directly at paddle.net or through the support link in your purchase receipt. Where available, you can exercise withdrawal rights through Paddle's customer portal. For a technical problem with Scholes, contact our support first; you can also contact Paddle if the issue remains unresolved.

03Payment provider and applicable policies

Scholes is operated by Lucas Los Arcos. Paddle handles paid purchases as Merchant of Record. Scholes provides the product and technical support; the payment provider handles payment transactions and issues refunds.

Your purchase is subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. Our first-purchase guarantee is an additional Scholes commitment and is separate from Paddle's discretionary refund assessment. Applicable mandatory consumer rights and any greater refund protection remain available.

Our Terms of Service govern your use of Scholes, and our Privacy Policy explains how purchase and support information is handled.

04Cancelling renewal and closing your account

You can cancel renewal through the billing controls in Settings or by contacting support@scholes.ai. Ordinary subscription cancellation generally preserves access through the paid period. Account deletion closes access and starts cleanup. Neither action automatically requests or issues a refund.

You can also cancel through Paddle's customer portal, the subscription-management link in your receipt, or Paddle buyer support. Cancel before the next renewal to prevent another recurring charge.

05Contact and changes

For product support or help with a refund, contact support@scholes.ai or write to Lucas Los Arcos at Moldes 2361, Belgrano, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, CP 1428, Argentina.

We may update this policy and will update the date above. Changes do not retroactively remove refund rights attached to an earlier purchase or any mandatory consumer rights.
